Marcy Fry-Executive Director                                                                                                           

marcyheadshot2Marcy Fry is a life-long resident of Elwood. She comes to the Chamber with 18 years’ experience in education, job placement, and customer service. She has served the Elwood Chamber of Commerce since 2011.

Marcy received her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Institute of Technology and her associate’s degree in Office Management from Harrison College.

A dedicated volunteer for numerous charity and civic organizations throughout Elwood and Madison County, Marcy is a member of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce and a board member for the Madison County Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team. She serves as an elder and wedding coordinator at the East Main Street Christian Church and is active with the Heartland Great Banquet and Kids’ Hope.

Marcy has been honored throughout her career with several professional awards. She was nominated in 2011, 2012, and 2014 for the Athena Award, was named Indiana Business College’s outstanding Director of Career Services for 2007 and 2008, its Staff Person of the Year for 2002, Campus Employee of the Year for both 2002 and 1999, and the college’s Alumni of the Year for 1999.  She also is a graduate of the 2008 Leadership Academy of Madison County.

Marcy lives with her husband, Mel. They are the parents of four grown children — Ben, Andy, Troy and Kaylie — and the grandparents of six.
